World AIDS Day, AIDS Response

CARE invites you to join us in New Hampshire on December 1 to commemorate World AIDS Day with an in-depth look at responses to this global epidemic. Learn more about the fight against AIDS and how you can make difference!

This free two-part event includes a screening of the documentary “A Closer Walk” from 3:00-4:30 p.m. at the University of New Hampshire, followed by an evening program with speakers and entertainment from 7:00-9:00 p.m.

Speakers at the evening event will include Ethan Zohn, winner of the Survivor: Africa TV show and co-founder of Grassroot Soccer, and Tate Alexander, a young man living with HIV. The program will also include choral music and African drumming and will conclude with a candlelight vigil to mark this important day.

This event is co-sponsored by AIDS Response Seacoast, Sexual Assault Support Services, Seacoast Gay Men, Gay Men Fight AIDS, Seacoast Outright, The Feminist Health Center, UNH Health Services and A Safe Place.

If you would like to attend, R.S.V.P. by November 30 to Julie Heinz at jheinz@care.org or (603) 373-0673.
