They Survived “Survivor”

A baker’s dozen’s worth of CBS’ “Survivor” contestants are scheduled to be in town at the end of next week for what’s being billed as a “Reality All-Star Weekend” to raise money for Grassroot Soccer, an AIDS prevention group founded by “Survivor: Africa” veteran Ethan Zohn.
Events are planned at the Milwaukee Wave soccer games March 17 and 19. There’s a dinner fund-raiser next Saturday at Miller Brewing Co.’s corporate offices. The cost is $50 per person. You can get details by calling the Wave ticket office at (414) 224-9283.
Among the “Survivor” vets you may see around town next weekend are Zohn, Jenna Morasca, Julie Berry, Tom Buchanan, Rudy Boesch, Ian Rosenberger, Chad Crittenden, Tina Wesson, Leann Slaby, Lex van den Berghe, Chris Doherty, Bobby Jon Drinkard and Jennifer Lyon.
