‘Survivor’ star raises AIDS awareness with celeb soccer match
“Survivor” winner Ethan Zohn took a break from dribbling a soccer ball 550 miles to host a star-studded charity soccer match Thursday, raising awareness and money for AIDS in Africa.
“I’m halfway into my 100-day journey,” Zohn told The News at Lion’s Gate Field, on Manhattan’s lower East Side. “I decided to dribble from Boston to Washington, D.C. I’ll finish on World AIDS Day in D.C. and I’ll be breaking a Guinness world record for longest consecutive dribbling.”
