PNZB October 7th Sports League Benefit a Great Success
From relievezoneb.org
Thank you for supporting the Namuwongo Youth Football and Basketball League at the October 7th Project Namuwongo Zone B benefit.
The successful event, featuring Winner of Survivor: Africa Ethan Zohn, raised $5,000 for the creation of the sports program!
PNZB now needs to secure another $5,000 to begin construction of the facilities by the end of October. Please help us reach our goal of $10,000 for the Namuwongo Youth Football and Basketball League.

The Namuwongo Youth Football and Basketball League (NYFBL) is an after-school recreational program initiated by Project Namuwongo Zone B that, in partnership with Grassroot Soccer, will bring an internationally recognized HIV/AIDS prevention curriculum to the community. The GRS AIDS Prevention curriculum uses soccer players and the game itself to teach awareness about the disease, critical life skills, and prevention strategies to young people.
Project Namuwongo Zone B (PNZB) is a sustainable development and rapid needs relief program based in Washington, DC with staff in Kampala, Uganda. PNZB was created in August 2003. PNZB’s goal is to work with a team of international colleagues to provide desperately needed education, medication, and nutrition, as well as a sustainable social support system for the population of poor and sick people living in sector Zone B of Namuwongo.
