Ethan Zohn, winner of the 2001-02 “Survivor: Africa,” and Samuel Eto’o of the F.C. Barcelona team in Spain’s top division will be on hand at the opening ceremony and will put on an exhibition and sign autographs at 10 a.m. Tuesday at the NSC.
A former goalkeeper and assistant coach, Zohn co-founded Grassroots Soccer, a nonprofit organization that tries to educate youth about the dangers of HIV and AIDS.
Eto’o’s Cameroon team won the gold medal in the 2000 Olympic Games.
Also scheduled to appear is Leslie Osborne, a midfielder with the U.S. women’s team who is from Brookfield, Wis.
Osborne, who helped the United States win the bronze medal at the 2007 FIFA Women’s World Cup, will greet players and fans Thursday at the NSC.
