Meet Ethan Zohn and get ready for Wave playoff action
Survivor Africa winner Ethan Zohn didn’t let his $1 million prize go to his head. Instead, he let it go to Africa. Zohn - a former professional soccer player - has dedicated himself to the fight against AIDS in Africa. The continent is being ravaged by the disease, and through his Grassroot Soccer organization, Ethan hopes to use soccer as an instrument to teach protection and prevention methods throughout Africa.
Ethan will visit Milwaukee next Thursday and Friday, and you can meet him, enjoy a private lunch on Friday and also score VIP tickets to the Wave’s MISL Semifinal at 3 p.m. April 14.
On Thursday night, April 12, Ethan will be at Cans Bar and Canteen, 1815 E. Kenilworth Place, for a Survivor viewing party from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. EVERYONE IS ENCOURAGED TO ATTEND. IT’S FREE AND FUN, WHAT A BETTER WAY TO GET THE WEEKEND STARTED!
Friday, Ethan will have a private lunch with six lucky fans, then join them on a VIP hard hat tour of Miller Brewing Company. Simply visit eBay to bid in an eBay auction that includes not only these prizes, but also two VIP tickets to Saturday’s game, which will be broadcast live by Versus network. Proceeds from this auction will go to support Grassroots Soccer, and our local charity Camp Heartland which sends kids infected and affected with AIDS to camp each year. It’s an awesome Friday afternoon off & the proceeds help charity — wow! Let’s bid early and often :)
