‘Kill Reality’ proving lively

“Reality TV is ruining the industry I love,” said an anonymous talent agent in a phone message as he ranted over this project, which he reckons is taking jobs from legitimate actors.

The show is about a bunch of reality stars living together while they make a horror film written by a former star of “Survivor.” Auditions were held last week and among those who won parts were Steven Hill from “The Real World: Las Vegas,” “Survivor” winner Ethan Zohn and former “Bachelor” Bob Guiney. A special treat was an appearance by Toni Ferrari, the wide-eyed lunatic from “Paradise Hotel.”

Now That’s Good TV: “If I don’t get the role, I’m walking away from acting,” said Ferrari, before getting teary. “It’s all I wanted to do and nobody will give me a break. That’s all I want. And I’m good, if you just give me a chance. Let go of reality TV; it’s just something I did for a free vacation and money.” Ferrari’s not such a good actress, it turns out, but the producers made up a role for her. She was less than pleased.
