In his latest video, Ethan Zohn takes viewers behind the scenes at his PEOPLE photo shoot on Manhattan’s West Side.
Diagnosed with Hodgkin’s lymphoma last April – and after enduring three months of nausea-inducing chemotherapy last summer – the Survivor: Africa winner appears upbeat and filled with optimism at his photo shoot.
“Ethan was phenomenal,” says his girlfriend of six years, fellow Survivor winner Jenna Morasca, 28. “He may have a career as a model – a bald model.”
Zohn, who turned 36 on Nov. 12, is currently in the middle of a new treatment regimen aimed at wiping out the disease, which actually spread during the first chemo treatments.
After completing five weeks of daily radiation therapy, Zohn is expected to undergo a stem-cell transplant, during which he will remain hospitalized in isolation for 30 consecutive days. As he told PEOPLE with his trademark smile, “I’ll officially be the Bubble Boy … You’ve got to look around you, enjoy the little things and stay positive.”
