Fort Wayne, IN: ‘Survivor’ winner in town

Ethan Zohn, winner of the “Survivor: Africa” TV series, will be at the IPFW Soccer Showcase and Fort Wayne Jewish Federation picnic this weekend.
Zohn wants to raise awareness and money for Grassroot Soccer, a nonprofit organization that uses professional soccer players to educate African-American children about AIDS and HIV.
Zohn will make appearances at the Soccer Showcase, which runs from 9 a.m.-10 p.m. Saturday at IPFW’s Hefner Fields in the 1800 block of California Road.
He will be at the Jewish Federation picnic from 3-6 p.m. Sunday at Congregation Achduth Vesholom, 5200 Old Mill Road. Donations can be mailed to: Grassroot Soccer, C/O P.O. Box 80436, Fort Wayne, IN 46898-0436.
