Ethan was on Fox News this week. A kind Ethan fan sent me this transcription:
FOX: Well he won’t be picking up another million bucks this time around because Ethan Zohn gets his torch pit out on the All Star installment of Survivor. Zohn was the champion of Survivor Africa, outwitting, outplaying, and outlasting the other contestants, then - so, what happened this time around? Zohn joins us now in our studio. Thanks for being here.
EZ: My pleasure, my pleasure.
FOX: Okay, as former winner, was it kind of inevitable that you were gonna get picked off - even though you were the last winner to make it?
EZ: I mean, I think every winner going into the game had a big target on their back - but there’s always in the back of your mind, your hoping you can go further. You hope you can go far in the game, but, it just didn’t work out this time. (laughs)
FOX: Now your buddy Lex came and talked to you the night before (Ethan nodding and laughing) and said, you’re you’re gone.
EZ: I know!
FOX: How did that make you feel?
EZ: Well. I mean as you could see, I was , I was pissed off. Because here he is, he takes me aside and says, this is all business, no friendship involved, but as your buddy, I’m gonna vote you off. So I was quite annoyed, but you know, we’re fine, we’re friends, we still talk all the time.
FOX: Now you wanted to vote off Jerri.
EZ: I yeah, I wanted to vote off Jerri, for sure, yeah, I felt that she was not contributing that much to the tribe. (laughs)
FOX: Now you are quite the, I have to say this, Survivor romantic. (Ethan cringes) There have been reports that you have dated Jenna Lewis, dated Amber…
EZ: You can’t read, you can’t believe anything you read in the tabloids, you know that.
FOX: Okay
FOX: And you are currently dating Jenna Morasca?
EZ: Yeah, Jenna’s great. I think, I think the world of her and we’re extremely close right now.
FOX: That’s great, that’s great. Is there a great Survivor women pick-up
line? (laughs)
EZ: I haven’t figured that out yet, if you got any ideas, you know, let me know, I’d be happy to, you know, take ‘em on.
FOX: Now actually, alot has been made of Boston Rob and Amber - have a romance going this season.
EZ: I know.
FOX: Now you and Jenna kinda decided, I think I am correct, in putting your romance aside going into this.
EZ: Well, I mean, we just met before the show, and we were friends before the show, and after the show is kinda when we became closer and got to know each other alot more. So,…
