Around the World for Free

I wanted to tell you about my latest production that that is about to launch called Around The World For Free. This is by far the coolest project that I have ever worked on and I know you will see the potential in it.
The premise is simple: while I hold down the office, my 2 production partners, Alex (Amazing Race winner) and Zolt (award winning director) are going to travel around the world in 5 months (5 continents and 25 countries) while documenting their entire trip. Every day, we will have 2-4 minute updates on the website and once a week a longer 8-12 minute webisode. The goal is for Alex to make it all the way around without spending any money - just from the kindness of others and help from the online audience.
The most amazing part of the project is the social networking site we have created to tie it all together at www.aroundtheworldforfree.com. If you have spent some time on MySpace or similar sites, you will see that on our site you can also create your own profile with pictures, videos and audio files, tell others about yourself, message other users, comment on media and people, and much more. What makes it so unique though is that the entire site is map based with the ability to pinpoint locations of people and media so you can search for content based on geographic location - truly built with the adventurous travelers in mind.
