50 Most Eligible Bachelors of 2002
Today (June 12th) I received the following e-mail from someone at People Magazine:
At 4 p.m. tomorrow, PEOPLE magazine is announcing its 50 Most Eligible Bachelors of 2002, and we thought you might like to know that Ethan Zohn is one of the 25 bachelors who will be featured on PEOPLE.com. We invite you to check it out at http://people.aol.com/people/special/0,11859,260870,00.html. And if you are able to link to us, that would be great.
Well, their site seems to prohibit linking directly to an interior page. Bummer.
Ethan Zohn
Survivor: Africa Winner
Age: 28
Height: 5′10″
Status: Never married
Residence: New York City
Education: Vassar College, B.A.
The scoop: Once a globe-trotting pro soccer goalie, Zohn now rooms with two buddies in Manhattan, using most of the $1 million he bagged on the CBS reality series to fund AIDS education and soccer programs in Zimbabwe and the United States.
In his own words: “I didn’t want to sell my dignity or self-respect on Survivor,” he says. “I wanted to prove you don’t have to be backstabbing to win.”
The ideal woman: She’s an independent, fun-loving, adventurous breadwinner. “I’m definitely going to have to be the stay-at-home dad,” Zohn says. “I could never have a 9-to-5 job.”
What a catch: He can pull spaghetti through his nose, but his real appeal is that “he totally gets girls,” says Annie Venier, a pal from hometown Lexington, Mass. “He knows women better than anyone I know.”
