2008 RollerSoccer World Cup

The RollerSoccer International Federation today announced that its sixth RollerSoccer World Cup Championship will take place at Treasure Island YMCA from Thursday Aug. 14 to Sunday Aug.17, 2008. In 1995, the sport of RollerSoccer, soccer on skates, was created on the streets of San Francisco by Zack Phillips, the original “SoccerHead.” His unique, yet recognizable personality has garnered international publicity for the sport in over 150 countries. This will be the first time that the RollerSoccer World Cup (RSWC) will be hosted in North America. Countries to be represented on Treasure Island at RSWC are Belgium, Brazil, England,France, Germany, India,Italy, Netherlands, and the United States of America.
